News and Events

                             Sunday, October 14th  21st Sunday after Pentecost. 
                                        We will have guest Preacher Jeff Weber.  

                                Thursday, October 18th  Men's Group Meeting, Meal and                                                               Fellowship @ 6:00PM.  

                Saturday, October 20thRoast Beef Dinner hosted by our Men’s Group from                4:30-6:30PM.  $12 for Adult - $6 for child 10 and under.  Delicious beef will be                served with mashed potatoes, corn, green beans, coleslaw, home made bread,                               AND dessert of apple crisp with ice cream - YUM!
                              Sunday, October 21st  22nd Sunday after Pentecost.  Sermon, “To                                    Serve and To Give” based on Mark 10:35-45.     

                         Thursday, October 25th –  Church Council Meeting @ 7:00PM.      

                         Saturday, October 27th  Soup Sale from 10:00AM-1:00PM!  Please bring                     your soup donations to the church Friday evening the 26th @6:00PM.  Contact                          Florinda with any questions.  Proceeds will be used toward sending our                          confirmands to the Confirmation Weekend at Pocono Plateau this winter!  
                    Sunday, October 28th  Reformation Sunday.  Sermon, “Be Encouraged”                               based on Mark 10:46-52.  We will also be doing our Trunk or Treat for                                                        our Sunday School Children!


     The Memorial Garden is beautiful!  The Memorial Committee is so proud of our new,      beautiful Memorial Garden and it is now ready to serve our members, families, &      friends.  The Cross has a kneeling area for praying, benches will be placed shortly, and      additional plants will be added this fall.  There are brochures in the Narthex for the      Memorial Garden.  Contact Paul Klein with any questions.
